Virtual Community Book Discussion - The Hate U Give
Join us as we explore Angie Thomas’ bold examination of the complexities of race in America through the story of sixteen-year-old Starr Carter, whose world is shattered when she becomes a key witness in the shooting of her childhood best friend Khalil at the hands of a police officer. The discussion will be taking place on Zoom. Registrants are asked to include their email addresses so that Zoom invitations can be sent for this event. Preregistration required.
