Do you know that the first Hispanic Catholic Church in Ohio was established in Lorain? Lorain was home to German speaking churches, three Jewish Synagogues and a Slovenian nationality parish. Join David Simmer of the Lorain County Community College Sacred Landmark Initiative for a PowerPoint look at the many religious institutions, both past and present, which have given our city strength through the years.
