Captain Wolf And The Woodland IndianTribes In Northeast Ohio

John Burke of Medina County portrays Captain Wolf as he describes the Woodland Indian tribes that lived in this area from 1650 to 1843.  Many of our current roads are built on old Indian trails and were once used by buffalo as well.  John Burke has been involved with Native American lore since he was an Eagle Scout.  He comes dressed in full regalia that he made from the same materials as the Indians used.  This interactive presentation includes many samples of furs and hunting tools.
