Samantha Pasa, Cosplay Costume Artist In residence at the Avon Branch

Samantha first took an interest in cosplay in 2007. She created her first cosplay, Jareth the Goblin King from the 1986 movie “The Labyrinth” using her brother’s old baseball pants, her mom’s high-heeled boots, and a Hannah Montana wig from Party City.

She is now a full-time Graphic Designer and a part-time character performer working as a professional princess. She will forever be a self-professed theater kid and has performed on stage and worked behind the scenes in the costume department.

She is exceptionally talented at finding space in her already overstuffed cosplay closet. You’ll typically find her sewing yet another costume, playing video games, reading, and counting down the days until Halloween.

Samantha Pasa has a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Akron.
