"The Right to Read" Film Screening

Come see "The Right to Read," a dynamic and inspiring documentary produced by LeVar Burton that promotes literacy. The film showcases the literacy crisis in America and asks the provoking question: Is early literacy instruction—and by extension, "The Right to Read"—a civil rights issue, and if so, are some students being left behind? As part of the new ReadOhio Initiative, Ohio elementary schools are using the Science of Reading approach to help raise literacy achievement.
