Yee-Haw! Pony Parties
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Sign-Up Events
7/27/2017 -- During the week of Aug. 14, Lorain Public Library System libraries will host pony parties to kick off the library system’s involvement with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a free book distribution program.
Kids will get to meet ponies up close at the library while folks enjoy some good ol’ country music!
Inspired by her father’s inability to read or write, country music artist Dolly Parton created her Imagination Library, a book gifting program designed to foster a love of reading in children.
Families in Lorain County can register for the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and receive one free book to be sent to their homes monthly for children from birth to 5 years old.
Sign up for this book distribution program at our library events. The books are provided by a grant from The Stocker Foundation, community partner donations and The Foundation of the Lorain Public Library System, Inc. Find out more at LorainCountyImaginationLibrary.org.
Preregistration is required to attend the following free events. Register by calling the libraries or online at LorainPublicLibrary.org/Events.
