LPLS Writing Conference

7/26/2017 -- Do you dream of becoming a published author someday? Don’t know where to begin, or perhaps you need guidance with the writing, editing and the traditional publishing process?

Aspiring authors: We’re having a writing conference just for you, whether you are new to the craft or a veteran writer.

Lorain Public Library System’s Writing Conference will be held Saturday, Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at our North Ridgeville Branch Library (35700 Bainbridge Road, North Ridgeville).

Featured Speaker Chuck Sambuchino, author and former editor at Writer’s Digest, will speak about the publication methods, landing an agent, how to market yourself as a writer and much more.

Come for door prizes, refreshments and great opportunities to network with other local writers.

Preregistration is required to attend this free event. Register by calling our libraries or in our online calendar of events at LorainPublicLibrary.org/Events.

The writing conference is sponsored by Lorain Public Library System, and all five Friends of the Library groups: Avon Branch, Columbia Branch, Domonkas Branch, Lorain (Main Library and South Lorain Branch) and North Ridgeville Branch.
