The Story Of Steel And The City Of Lorain

The Johnson Steel Street Rail Company, led by Tom L. Johnson and Arthur J. Moxham, founded the first Lorain steel mill in the late 1800s, eventually becoming one of the largest mills in the world and employing thousands of workers. Hear the fascinating story of the lives of these individuals and the building of the Lorain mill through vintage photographs and unique stories. Presented by Matt Weisman and Al Doane of the Lorain Historical Society. Preregistration required.
