Lunchtime Local History: Lorain’s “Really Religious Reid Avenue”

Who would have guessed that one street, named for one of the city’s founding fathers, would become the most religious street in all of Lorain? Two dozen of Lorain’s religious foundations – Methodist, Roman Catholic, Episcopal, Jewish, Moslem and more, are represented here. Join us as David Simmer, Sacred Landmarks Initiative, helps us explore the neighborhoods, the people and the sacred edifices that gave soul to the city of Lorain. Note: A $5 admission charge applies to all programs and exhibits at the Moore House Museum and the Carnegie Center.
