Third Thursday Book Discussion - The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro

A book about forgetting and memory told as only Nobel prize-winner Kazuo Ishiguro can. Set in a mythic post-Arthurian Britain, an elderly couple sets out to find their lost son, but a strange fog has caused mass amnesia in the land, and they don’t remember anything about him. As they travel, they are joined by a Saxon warrior and his orphan charge, as well as a mysterious knight. As they journey, the group starts to remember a dark and shared past. Copies of the book are available at the library. Preregistration required.
