Dolley Madison Portrayed By Carol Starre-Kmiecik

First Lady Dolley Madison was well known for her hospitality and social skills.  She became first lady in 1808 when her husband James Madison was elected President, but she had often previously acted as hostess of official state events during widower Thomas Jefferson's two presidential terms.  Carol Starre-Kmiecik will perform a one-woman presentation in period costume that will bring this great personality to life.  Sponsored by The Friends of the North Ridgeville Branch Library, Inc.
