The Pillowcase Project - Disaster Preparedness
Join the American Red Cross as they present The Pillowcase Project, a disaster preparedness program for children that examines the science of natural disasters. Participants will receive a pillowcase, designed to become a personal emergency supplies kit, and a workbook, which will help them learn more about natural hazards and help their family prepare for emergencies. This program is for third through fifth-graders. When registering, please only list school-age children under participants. Parents and younger siblings are welcome to attend but due to limited supplies, they will not receive their own pillowcase emergency kit. Preregistration required.
